  • Not at all! Many of our events and workshops are open to anyone interested in creativity, self-care, and emotional well-being. You’re welcome whether you’re new to therapy, currently seeing a therapist, or simply curious.

  • We’re based in Port Charlotte, FL, with a blend of in-person and virtual offerings. Check event listings for exact locations.

  • We blend traditional counseling with creative, nature-based, and playful wellness experiences. Our approach is trauma-informed, inclusive, and rooted in the belief that healing happens in many ways—not just in the therapy room.

  • Birdsong isn’t just beautiful—it’s therapeutic. Research shows that listening to birds can help lower stress, lift mood, and improve attention and memory. Whether you’re walking through a forest or sitting quietly by an open window, birdsong offers a natural, accessible way to reconnect with the present moment.

    We also accept cash/private pay clients for counseling services, workshops, special events, and recreational nights.  

    Some insurances may cover all or part of group therapy costs.

  • We accept all major credit cards  and digital payments. Payment is due at the time of service or registration.

  • We have limited reduced-rate spaces available. Reach out to discuss current availability.

Therapy FAQs

  • The first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you in, your hopes for therapy, and any questions you have. It’s a chance for you to feel heard and supported—no pressure, no judgment.

  • Just bring yourself. You’re welcome to jot down thoughts or questions ahead of time, but it’s not required. We’ll guide the conversation gently.  We do offer optional free resources for preparing for your first session. (LINK NEEDED)

  • Common areas include anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, life transitions, trauma recovery, identity exploration, and emotional regulation.  We will work with you on any issue.

  • Most clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions. Your therapist will work with you to find the rhythm that fits your needs.

  • Yes! We offer couples therapy focused on communication, conflict resolution, and pre-marital support. We also have structured 6- or 8-week coaching packages.

  • Group therapy is clinically facilitated and focused on emotional processing, interpersonal growth, and support. Workshops are more structured and theme-based, often including education, journaling, and skills practice.

  • Most groups have 6–8 participants to allow for deeper connection and support.

Recreation, Wellness, and Workshop FAQs

  • We offer 4- to 6-week small-group workshops focused on themes like grief, job stress, journaling, friendship, burnout recovery, and more.

  • Most workshops range from $195–$225 for the full series. Deposits are required at registration, and space is limited to keep groups intimate.

  • Our events include things like yoga, breathwork, laughter therapy, beach and forest walks, wine glass gardening, improv for anxiety, and game nights.

  • Not at all! All events are beginner-friendly, low-pressure, and designed to meet you exactly where you are.

  • : Most single-session events range from $15–$45. Multi-class passes and seasonal memberships are also available.

  • Yes! We offer day and weekend retreats focused on rest, creative healing, mindfulness, and seasonal renewal. Details are posted seasonally on our website and social media.  Sign up for our newsletter to be notified of upcoming events.

  • Absolutely. Many people attend solo and leave feeling more connected than when they arrived.

Corporate Wellness & Private Event FAQs

  • Yes! We offer private experiences for bachelorette parties, birthdays, team bonding, and friend circles. Activities can include yoga, journaling, wine glass gardening, and more.

  • We recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks in advance to reserve your preferred date and customize your experience.

  • We do! Our corporate wellness offerings include lunch-and-learns, team resilience workshops, communication training, burnout recovery, and creative stress-relief events

  • Yes—we can hold your event at your location, our location, or another site.

  • Yes—every organization is different, and we’ll work with you to design something that fits your goals, whether it's a one-time event or an ongoing series.

  • Yes—we offer vouchers for workshops or recreational & leisure activities that you can use as employee rewards or incentives.
